Three Semester System- “Fast Track”

The scheduling of three semesters within one calendar yeas is an example of ACBT’s innovative educational planning. Semesters commence in March, July & November.

Courses offered by ACBT are of two semester duration. However, because ACBT has three semesters in a calendar year, students can fast track their studies by completing both the Associate Degree and the Diploma in just sixteen months. The eight semester program of Certificate, Diploma, Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree can be completed in less than three years. This fast tracking enables a student to enter the equivalent level of a university course earlier than students studying in a conventional system where there are only two semesters available in a calendar year. There are substantial savings in time, and graduates are able to commence employment in their chosen career ahead of their peers.

Another advantage of the three semester system is that students who may need to extend their studies to provide the best academic success can spread their course over three semesters and still complete their certificate, Diploma or Associate Degree within twelve months.

Small Class Sizes

To ensure students receive the best attention, lectures are limited to a small group of students and are complemented by small group tutorials/workshops. Access to academic staff for individual consultation is readily available.

Course Accreditation

The Australian government and Edith Cowan University accredit all courses offered by ACBT. The accreditation procedures ensure all courses meet the required quality assurance standards. All courses are registered on the Australian Government Commonwealth Registration of International Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS)
