Admission Requirements

To enter ACBT courses, students must meet both academic and English Language requirements.

Undergraduate programmes:

• GCE O Level Cambridge/London: 5 passes two of which must be English and Mathematics.
• Sri Lanka or Cambridge GCE Advanced levels completed – minimum 2 passes required.
• Mature age students (20 years or over) may be admitted to the Undergraduate program with meeting the formal educational requirements if they can demonstrate relevant work experience.
• English and Mathematics requirements will apply.

Postgraduate program:

• A recognized Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years work experience in an executive capacity with 2 years senior management.

English Requirement

• A recognized degree from UK, US, Australia, Canada or 6.5 overall band score with a 6.0 individual band score in IELTS.

Do not meet the English requirements?

If you do not meet the English language requirements you may be eligible for a Mixed Program which is the Academic English program at ACBT to improve your English language proficiency. If students wish to improve their English further they could also join the General English course while they study at ACBT.

ACBT could also arrange English Support Classes if students need to improve their English level while their Academic study at ACBT.
