Bachelor of Computer Science
This course focuses on the practical and theoretical dimensions of computer science and prepares students for careers in the fields of computing and software development.
Students are introduced to concepts including programing, operating systems, networking, databases and security before specializing in an area of computer science.
Graduates of this course will be awarded an ECU Bachelor of Computer Science degree from their studies at ACBT.

Delivery mode
Blended mode which consists of face to face assistance from the ACBT lecturer's and for increasing number of units you can listen to recordings of ECU lecturers . Your lecturers will use our 'Blackboard' system to teach your units.
Course Duration
If you're enrolled in 3 units in a semester this is considered full-time study. Part-time students are enrolled in 1 or 2 units maximum per semester. You can generally expect it to take twice as long to complete

Students who have previously completed the Diploma of Science (Computing/IT) and/or the Advanced Diploma of Science (Computing/IT) at ACBT, may be eligible for advanced standing which will reduce the number of units students will need to complete to be awarded the ECU qualification.
